When I connect my M1330 to my HDTV via HDMI, I get a picture (although the picture is slightly bigger then the TV screen, so overhangs from the sides a little), but I get no sound through the TV.
I thought HDMI also carried audio?
Am I missing a setting somewhere??!!

Theres no audio on the M1330 HDMI port. It is annoying, but many other notebooks do not have any audio on their HDMI ports either. But, there are going to be more and more with it on, a recent example being the HP DV5Z.

dude you just have to go to the sound settings and tell it to go through the HDMI out, search the forums.

I haven't even got my m1330 yet and i already know this answer.

Sorry ifti and shaba230. I was under the impression it didn't have audio. It was not my intention to post false information. :(
