i got display on my screen, then i put the hdmi audio on by picking "HDMI", put the film on and as far as the laptop knows the sound is on, but i get no sound.

when i change the colume up or down i can hear it for a really sound amount of time and it goes off, i can only hear for an instant just while pressing the button.

    any help?

Right click the sound icon on the task bar, playback devices, set HDMI to default.
