    Hello,
My 4 year old XPS m1330 has experienced a hard drive crash. The tech guy says I need a replacement and that it will be impossible to retrieve any of my data. This is the second time this has happened with this computer, but the first time I was still under warranty. Is it worth it to go through replacing this part again, or should I move on???
    Thanks.

Hard drives aren't that expensive, and you can get them anywhere... if you like the laptop (and you don't have the Nvidia model), it's probably worth while to replace the drive, but if you were planning to buy a new laptop soon anyway, you might as well now.
