Has anybody put Ubuntu 8.10 on a M1530 with the 8400GS card?

Hey everybody, I've searched google and I've been trying to figure out if my new Dell M1530 will run Ubuntu at full graphic settings with the following unit specs.

    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T6600 (2.2GHz/800Mhz FSB/2MB cache)
4GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz (2 Dimms)
High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LCD(1440x900)
    128MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8400M GS

I have a older desktop with a Athlon xp2400+ proecessor, 1 gig of ram and a old ATI 128mb Radeon 8500LE card and I wasn't able to run Ubuntu 8.10 with all the full graphic interface.

Any ideas? Just wondering if it will, if not I'll have to change my order.

    Thank you

Perhaps you could create a thread in the Linux section and someone will help you out.
