    Has your Dell XPS 17 shipped yet? If so,

    Post your specs and the date shipped and your location.

    I want to see how Dell is doing with the shipping.

    Ordered mine 3/31 and still in "production".

    Hoping someone that ordered few days before that or on that date is having their laptop shipped.

    Ordered 3/28. Dell rep says its been ready to be shipped since 4/4 but it will not ship for at least another 24-48 hours.

    Made the order on 3/31 and it was in production on 4/1 and shipped on 4/7. It is on its way to me and should arrive on 4/11.

    If you guys are curious to see If you have any delays, call up Dell. They told me they were waiting for the i7 processor I ordered (this was 2 days ago) so If Dell is waiting for something, they should be able to tell you.

    Basically, I've been told each day a different part is on back order. But I believe it has to do with the 16gb of memory as anyone that placed an order with it still hasn't received theirs. And I find it curious that 16gb is no longer an option when ordering. This is the one time I didn't buy the memory somewhere else and put it in myself. I was just being lazy and now I'm paying for that laziness. ;)

    Excellent idea. The point here is that they should have taken the initiative to make a call to their customers, not the other way around, don't you think so guys?

    That is pretty sad. Make more calls to them or chat with them online to check on your status.

    Fingers crossed! I did not believe my eyes when I saw the confirmation status via an e-mail from Dell yesterday. That was a surprise as the first order took me around 20 days to arrive.

    Please try to take it easy. I'm sure that you will get your laptop before the EDD. Keep the faith.
