Hi! I was interested in buying myself a 1730 XPS. I had a look at the review on notebookreview and noticed that the reviewer commented that the laptop itself ran very quietly and cool when left idle or just surfing. Is this still the case if I choose to upgrade the graphics card to 8800? Or will it run very warmly? How do the 2 different graphic cards compare in terms of heat?

They are quite neck to neck. Though they are rated the equally at 35W, in real world 8800 GTX gives away more heat than the 8700 GT.
