    Help! Mic not working (New Dell XPS 15)

    I could us some help.

    I have the new Dell XPS 15.

    I can use the internal microphone - but whenever i plug in my SteelSeries 5H headset into the laptop, headphones work but the microphone doesnt

    When i plug the mic into the laptop, it only picks up as a headset with the 'Dell Audio' app.

    The only option i have in the sound configuration area under 'Recording' is 'Microphone. Realtek High Definition Audio'.

    No other devices under the disabled.

    I've tried installing the latest drivers - no difference.
