I hav a problem with my laptop in another thread but I though it was fixed. So, the problem is that my laptop doesnt recognize one of the ram card. When I start the computer some of this cases can happen:

    1. Start normally
    2. Doesnt start and light the numlock steady and the capslock and arrow is flashing. I need to make a procediment that give me a technician of dell, that is (briefly) removing the ram and put it again,so the computer can start normally. I made it 3-4 times
    3. Start but says that memory has changed and now is 2GB instead of 3GB.

it is really annoing (I turn on the computer like 5-6 times every day normally, and now with this problem it sucks.) I use the computer5-7 hours normally and somedays 10 hours or more.

Im thinking to sell the laptop before it gets obsolete. Im thinking in asus, everybody says that they computers are reliable. Also more gaming capability.

What problem is? MoBo or RAM? both?

well you did the right thing mate :D i think that could have been a RAM fault, if it still doesn't work after they change the ram stick then they need to change your whole motherboard
