Well after considering the 1330 versus a Macbook, I've decided the 1330 is my best option. But I have a few reservations/questions about buying that I thought you guys could clear up.

    1. Should I get the 8400 GeForce? The fact that there is a dedicated mod thread scares me a bit.

    2. 6-cell or 9-cell? How much weight/battery length does the 9 add?

    3. Which chips are Penryn? The 8000s? Should I go for that?

    4. A 30% off the 1330 coupon expires tomorrow! Should I buy today or will Dell have a similar dell by Thursday or Friday?

    1) ur choice....
    2) 9-cell..... its about 300 grams more, it physically sticks out, which is a good point... maybe 6 hours total from 3.5-4 hours on 6-cell
    3) T8100 and above (all T8x00 and T9x00)
    4) buy now? u have 21 day return period.... and its like EST shipping 9/10... when do u want it?

    1. Yes. Dedicated means it has it's own RAM and graphics processing unit.

    2. 9-cell. Better battery life, better cooling (more room for air to flow), nice incline

    3. The T8x00 and T9x00 series are Penryn.

    4. Today!

    1. If you are not a hardcore gamer, I would opt for the more than capable x3100 integrated graphics. I actually would have downgraded my video processor but since it was a systems swap, I got the Nvidia. But if I had a choice, I would get the x3100 as it also saves battery life and helps laptop run a tad cooler.
    2. 9-cell. So what if it sticks out a little? Ideally, I would get 1 of each :)

    4. Today or near future...check Dell deals thread and just wait for a coupon but don't wait too long as it is a great system!

Finally, don't let FEAR hold you back. I waited too long to own a M1330 due to my FEARS and am feeling kinda stupid for waiting as long as I did as it is a top-calibre laptop.

Did I say finally yet? One more thing - Get the extended warranty. Min: 2 year. If you can, opt for 3 or 4.

9 Cell FTW....better battery life, gives elevation and ventilation

    T8x00 and T9x00

Thanks for your help! Answering your questions about the video card, I am not a hardcore gamer (I've been using a mac). Could I run games in a limited capacity with integrated graphics?
