I thought the graphic card is prefixed. I don't think you can leave that out ? For your specs, I only got that at $1100+ for P8600.

I wouldn't get a Core 2 Duo it's near the end of its run, it'll be replaced with i3, i5, and some new i7s next year. Should run cooler, longer, way faster.

The P-Series of the Core 2 Duo runs really cool and quiet. The voltage can be controlled with RMClock and its good for gaming.
The limiting factor when gaming is the graphics card. A faster CPU is only necessary when doing video editing, conversion... or larger mathematical calcultaions.
