    Help catalyst 10.11

    Okay so i tried to install the new catalyst 10.11 today.. its run's the installer extracts some files, then when i click start down load and its prompts me where to save, Then when it starts a second later it says download had been canceled? any advice please? I did download the notebook driver not the desktop. Have tried running as admin? nothing

    4 gigs ram
    p8700 duo 2.5ghz
    mobility HD 4870
    vista 64bit

    or does anyone know if i can get the 10.10 hotfix for my setup?

    instead of running the 1.1MB installer file, download the other file. it's about 90MB, and it's the exact same file that your installer was trying to download.

    file name should look like "10-11_mobility_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc"

    okay this worked. am i missing anything with this install? or why is the file smaller in other words

    the original installer file you tried is (i think) just a user-friendly version. i don't know why they would even provide a 1.1MB installer when all it will do is download and install the other file in the process.

    i don't think you'll have missed anything. i am assuming that you already have a previous driver installed (e.g. 10.8) before installing/updating to 10.11?

    well i was using 10.10 before.
