    Hi,
I have received a replacement of my laptop but came with hitachi 2.5 hdd (paid for seagate free fall sensor). I still have the old laptop(in fact is new), which has the seagate one, i can change it.
I am trying to decide which one to keep it: Seagate Momentus 7200.4/ST9500420ASG or Hitachi HTS725250A9A362 500GB/7200 RPM.
I noticed that hitachi one is quieter.
    Which one is better?
    Thanks

Take the newer ones. The old 500gb ( when they first released ) cause bsod for me atleast. They park their heads and won't start again. Take whichever is newer

Thanks both for the answers. I will keep hitachi. I have over 5 hours while on battery, and with seagate nearly 3 hours.
