    hi everyone.
    as the title says it all . i am going to buy dell xps 15 . i am an engineering student just started my engineering study. so im going to buy laptop .
    my budget is 1300US $ .
    my current configuration in which i am interested, is

    You could save money by removing the upgrade option for the GT 540M video card. The standard GT 525M is fine. According to what I've read, there is little performance difference between them.

    You could also save money on the BluRay drive, if you don't intend to play BluRay disks.

    Agree with the display upgrade and backlit keyboard: both are great. I also chose the upgraded 6230 WiFi/Bluetooth card, and it was not an expensive option.

    actually its a package . and i can not exclude gt540 2gb. and if i customize the basic version from the start . it costing me way more i.e 1450 US $ and with gt 525
