    I have got 2 options..

    1. Dell S-XPS 15.6" Intel® Core™ i7-720QM Processor (1.6GHz,4 Cores/8 Threads,turbo up to 2.8GHz, 6MB Cache) with ATI Mobility RADEON® HD 4670- 1GB.

    Cost-73,900 INR or 1650 USD

    2. Dell studio 15.6" Intel® Core™ i5-540M Processor (2.53GHz, 4 Thread, turbo boost up to 3.06GHz, 3M cache) with ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470 - 1GB

Cost- 59818 INR or 1320 USD

Both has 4GB DDR3 1333MHz SD-RAM with 500GB HDD and all other configurations are same.

    My sole purpose is "gaming".

P.S: Dell S-XPS looks are good compared to Studio.

If your purpose is gaming, stay away from the overheating dell sxps 16 series.

If you could extend your budget, you would have a blast with the asus g73jh.
I usualy advice the Asus N or K series aswell, since they are cheap and have decent gaming options.

I'm not familiar with MSI but their gaming models are also suggested here in the forums by quite a few people.

I check Asus website,G73JH is not available in India.Only gaming series from Asus right now is G50V with Core 2 duo..

And MSI are way to costly..

Well the current asus g5* and g6* series become too hot, and I doubt they will have a long life so try avoiding those too.

After looking at pretty much every laptop in existence: Unless you're looking at a crazy expensive laptop then the Core i7 series are out of the question as they overheat any laptop they are put in (Dell XPS, HP Envy, etc).
