    Hi guys,

    i ordered L501x 1 month ago , but still didn't receive so, My seller called me today and he said dell stopped shipping dell xps 15 with i7 740QM , And he's telling me now that there is 2nd generation processor available And i don't remember correctly but he said something 2620 or some what , so he told me to go to his store tomorrow ,

    Are there any sandy bridge processor that dell offers without any cost of charge ? i know that i7 2720QM Costs more around 200 $
    Okay guys i need suggestions now , However i am confused between i7 2630QM & i7 2720QM , Which one to buy ?

    I don't want to go with dual core processor, Few days back i opend up China dell website and new sandy bridge processor were up but today i don't find it. However i7 2720QM is costing me nearly 1200 Yuan extra which is around 200 $

    Any Suggestions ? i love dell xps 15 :) , Or should i leave dell xps 15 and tell him to return my money ? and look somewhere else ?

    2630QM already kills 740QM which u were about to get anyway.... so i guess u would be more than happy with 2630QM...
    better spend the saved money on SSD....

    i am also getting xps 17 with 2630QM.... don't feel the need to get more than that...

    Depends on what you are doing. If you are rendering, PS or other CPU intensive tasks then yes opting for Sandy Bridge will be a significant jump. What SB will not help with is getting +50 FPS in solitaire. And again, depends on what you are doing to determine between quad core or dual core.
