Help with 1530!

Hi all,

I'm trying to configure a 1530 for less than 1500 and there are a few things I would like to have:

LED
vista ultimate if at all possible
7200 rpm hdd
4yr warranty and accidental protection

I have an epp code I just feel like I'm missing something. Any help would be appreciated.

With todays EPP promos (subject to daily change), I think you can meet your price target if you choose warranty over processor and HDD speed. I went with 2 yrs warranty but with a "reasonably fast" processor, HDD speed and other desired stuff for well less than $1500. Your OS, 4 yr warranty and 7200 rpm HDD price point is doable if you choose to otherwise down-spec your config. The question (for me) is how important is 4 yrs warranty plus a 7200 RPM HDD? Also including Vista Ultimate since so many would prefer XP (me too).

you wont need ultimate, its just harder on your computer, get the home premium, if you want it because of a special feature, you can google it and find out its dooable in home premium, and shoo off that antivirus, its ****e.
one like AVG free edition is much better and it runs lightly on your comp. and kick off the datasafe dell storage, you can always just burn dvds to backup stuff or have a free online server to store stuff. also dont get microsoft works, its no use at all, buy office 2007 complete version.

Oh and get the intel N next gen wireless, the dell one sucks

With the spare money get a faster processor or a bigger hdd, all of the other specs seem nice

woah, thats a great deal!!!! no the product red is missing some things such as the led screen or the 320 gb 7200 rpm HDD, but mine is midnight blue, and its awsome!!!

i would recommend you dont buy mcafee, because as i said above, AVG free is so much better and lighter, its personal experience, but its really whatever you like best
