I got my XPS 15 yesterday and I'm loving it, except the the three touch buttons on the top right of the keyboard are non-responsive. They're not lit up and do nothing if I touch any of them.

I called Dell and they're sending a technician to replace the palmrest. We tried removing/reinstalling the quick set drivers but that didn't do anything. The technician won't be here till next week and I am wondering if their is anything on my end I can do that tech support didn't think off? When I first turn on the laptop a light is on for a second toward the right..

Also, how do I adjust the waves settings manually without pushing the dedicated button?

    Would appreciate any help guys.

You could open up the rig and see if the cable is well connected. That's as far as I could think if you have already tried reinstalling quickset.

You can access the sound control by clicking on the speaker icon on the icon tray.

This is what I want to control:

    MaxxDialog
    MaxxBass
    MaxxVolume
    MaxxEQ
    MaxxTreble
    MaxxStereo
    MaxxLeveler

How do I choose among those? Thanks

Oh wait, read your question wrong. Just configure them the way you want. Enable/disable stuff and check out how the sound feels.

There are also factory preset profiles for music movie and gaming, but I create and use my own profile that I like the best
