    Hey guys need help with sumthin, To do with a Dell Rep and Centrino 2

    Well I got a machine spec'd out and they couldn't do anything to bring the price down, I had the quote emailed to me and after I decided to see what happens with centrino 2 I sent this email:

    I then got this as a response today. I have been missing his calls because I am in work, if I had answered I would have said the same as above. Anyway this is what I got back:

    Anyway I just want to know what do people think he wants to know about Centrino 2, you would think they know what it is and they would probably also know when its to be released depending on how high up they are..

    Does anybody have some good links maybe to a Centrino 2 laptop thats available now in the UK, and some general info about what it is etc, something that will show him clearly and easily what I am talking about.

    I'd rather take a discount on the current XPS models than wait for Centrino 2 because I don't need it, would rather save some dosh. If I can't then i'm not going to pay the full price when I dont specifically need the new laptop until mid september (but would be nice)

    Cheers for reading, I'm going to google some centrino 2 info myself now, hopefully somebody also has some good links.

    Hmm my mistake, thought they were already on sale. Seems there are mostly just pre-order models so far.But damn that Sony series of laptops looks tempting...hmmm
