    Hidden files

    I have dell xps m1530(windows vista home premium)
    i have a problem which is that i have a hidden folders that doesn't appear so i thought i will do like i do in windows xp so i opened "Folder Options" from the control panel and then clicked view
    then under the advanced settings i found hidden files and folders
    so i double clicked it in windows xp 2 options appear which is:
    1-show hidden files and folders
    2-don't show hidden files and folders
    but here(win vista home premium)
    i found only one option which is:
    -don't show hidden files and folders

    so i tried to deselect it i couldn't and i tried to disable any securities and also nothing happened so any help please?

    What is the hidden folder's name.

    Usually if you can't see a hidden folder it's usually because you don't have sufficient rights or you are not an administrator.

    but i am an adminstrator ,well anyways i will download all win vista updates if this didnt work i will download service pack 1 and see the results.
