    Hey all!

So, I'm sitting here on my lappy, in front of my new 37" Sharp Aquos LCD HDTV....

And, now I've finally decided I'd like to try hooking up my 1530 to the TV.

So, has anyone done this with their 1530, and what have the results been? I'm sure this very simple!

Please advise, and many, many thanks :D

    Cin ;) :)

I have hooked up my notebook to my TV with great results. If you use HDMI you should be able to do this without a problem. You will be able to control your external monitor through the video control panel in Windows or with your graphics utility.

Cin, I thought you bought a HDMI cable already, no?
It's pretty much what atbnet said - connect the HDMI cable from your laptop to your TV and select the appropriate settings in your VGA control panel

Just remember not to spend more than $20 on HDMI cable. ;)

Monoprice is great, I bought all of mine there. Too bad they still don't have the colored ones in stock yet.

Thanks for the links with the pricing, guys! :D

No worries...I won't be heading to BB tomorrow to buy a 6ft. HDMI cable, and spend 4x's the amount I would at amazon.com, or the linkys you both provided! :D

I imagine after hooking the HDMI cable up..getting the picture right, will be fairly easy!
