    Took the dive tonight and ordered my studio xps.

    2.53ghz/4gb ram/RGB Display/500gb 7200rpm/3670/2 yr warranty

    $100 promotional gift card
    EDD 7/28 (ouch it said 7/17 on the quote yesterday)

    $1339 (tax included)

    Well, it's usually over-estimated, anyways...so I bet it ships well before that 7/28 date! :)

    Sidenote: When I was configuring the 1340, there was no $100 GC..wonder if it's for the 1640s only?

    Fore pure gaming, definitely. But the g50vt has a very crappy display that kills it's value and it's DDR2. The g60 coming out in mid July will have a 16" 1080p display and that will be a decent alternative to the SXPS 16. I'm VERY tempted to cancel my Dell order and wait on that. Kinda hard to beat a GTX 260m + 16" 1080p display IMO.

    Lol jshadoww I ordered the exact same config for the same price last night... weird thing is though my order status says EDD is 7/20... you ordered yours one day later and have an EDD of 8 days later.
