So.. i've configured my first laptop ever, its a dell Xps M1530 with

2.4 Or 2.5 Ghz processor ( not sure yet which one to choose,... is the 2.5 all that much better? is it worth 100$$? )
1 Gb ram --> I can upgrade later for cheaper... right ?
120 Gb Hdd --> I can upgrade later for cheaper... right?
256 Mb Nividia 8600m GT Graphics card
Intel Next gen -N- Card --> IS the N card worth it.. what is an N card anyways.

All the rest is just the standard stuff, maybe i'll upgrade the screen not too sure yet.

Anyways, with all of it, its about $1299.00 (Or 1399.00 with the 2.6 Ghz Proccessor)

Is this the best price i could get on this ? signed up for dells newsletter in a hope to get some coupon deals for canada, but alas nothing yet :(

My fears are that when there are deals for canada, the laptop will be more expensive due to the new chipset, which i dont think i need... --> ( DO i need the new chipset.. other than battery life does it really help?)

Anyone know anywhere to get good deals on laptops like this in canada?... All of the sites i've seen so far are all States based and not for canada :(

Information in blue is kind of a side question :p

    I would pick:
    2.5ghz t9300 - since its a gaming system
1 gb ram - upgrade later
    120gb hdd - upgrade later
an intel G card - the N extends x2 the wifi coverage, and x5 faster BUT only works with N routers, just get it if you want to futureproof it.

Get the T8300. T9300 isn't worth $100 extra, it offers no noticeable advantage for most cases.
