I have an XPS 16, and in certain games pressing caps lock takes me to the Windows Desktop and I see the (useless to me) caps lock pop-up message caused by Dell Quickset.

I don't want to remove Quickset since I like the volume and brightness display, and I'd rather not install a 3rd party application. I attempted this registry change that is supposed to fix the problem, but I noticed that my DWORD was already set to the suggested value:
    Dell Community

Is there any simple or moderately simple fix that doesn't involve remapping the Caps Lock key, and that allows me to use the Caps Lock key without being taken to the Windows Desktop?
