That's a pretty sweet configuration Cin! All the best for your new laptop!
-
Zomg! You're stealing my laptop aren't you! Everything minus the warranty is identical to mine.
EDIT: Nevermind. Just noticed the color XD. -
Well thank you....I was planning on purchasing thru the Outlet with last week's coupons..but every time I went to visit..there was never anything available!
Now, I hope this is *it*
You found me out!
hee hee...What warranty did you get? Can I ask how much you paid for yours??
Cin... -
Not bad for the price. I'd say go for it

.
I managed to get mine with a 4 year warranty and a $75 gift card for ~$1,260. Note that I was originally going to pay ~$1,450 until Dell messed up my order, I applied EPP, and I got an additional $15 gift certificate courtesy of Dell (I didn't expect it to go this low). However, because they messed up my order (The representative thought LED = LCD) I almost didn't go through them as all of the representatives I spoke to couldn't cancel the wrong order and told me to ship it back to them after I receive it (and not to simply refuse delivery as this would incur a restocking fee); all of which delayed my order.
In either case, the discounts they gave were more than enough to keep me a happy Dell customer.

I dunno.
The Rep I was working with had sent me a quote and put in the 8600 vs. the 8700, glad I double check and saw his teeny *error*..so I understand.

You could try. If nothing else you can try getting them to add on another part you may need in the future (e.g. a feature I wanted yet forgot to get was BlueTooth). That reminds me, I also owe part of my lower price to the Asus N80Vn/N81Vp as the Dell representative tried to "price match" those before I applied EPP.

Decent config. Why do you need a 2nd laptop? Sick of your 1330?
-
One more tech visit and you could easily get one as a replacement
How does this look? My SXPS 1340 (nearly finalized order) :D
