Sorry guys if this has been answered before but I have an opportunity to get a good deal on an XPS m1530, the only problem is it has the 8400m gs video card (128 mb) and I really want the 8600. Anyway, I know that the XPS card are stand alone so it should be easy to change out right? If so mow easy is it and where do I purchase video cards for laptops? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have average knowledge if that helps in telling me the difficulty. Thanks

It is difficult and expensive. I would not recommend it. Plus, you will void the entire warranty of your laptop. Pay the upgrade for 100 more to get it with the 8600gt.

That's funny. I don't think it's that difficult. There's step by step instructions with pictures on the Dell sight. You'll have to call about the price. It will be between $300-$600 I'm guessing.
