This left 'mouse' button has 'collapsed' and I am wondering how easy to get at it - I presume I can't pry it off like a keycap?

(I have another M1330 which I think is about to suffer the third and final graphics failure - so I can cannibalize that for parts... it seems cold weather (in boot of car) caused it to start showing several seconds of multi-colour blocks on boot - which I take to mean failure is imminent)

It is literally easier to replace the entire palmrest then to bother fixing the touchpad buttons.

Thanks - but that touchpad is in a bad state - corrosion and partly bent. Guess I had better open it up and look.
