That is more than I paid here, and they overcharge like there's no tomorrow, in India. Are you sure that's a deal? I got a 1 year complete cover too...

Not bad, but I've seen a lot better on this forum. You should have gone with the 1gb of ram and standard hard drive and then upgrade yourself. Could of save some there. I have a similar setup but without the upgrade in hd or ram and came out $1624 before tax, also received a $75 credit instead of the free bag. Whats your est. deliver date?

For dell university purchase the 3 year warranty and the order is discounted 12%.

I called up Dell Rep for credit for Messenger Bag.

They said the bag will be shipped in next week. After that I can ask for credit for the bag and keep the bag too...weird isn't it ?

The question you need to ask yourself is "Do I like the deal I got?" Too many here come to try and compare whereas none of us is aware of the others background. For instance, I did very well but I had to endure more than pretty much anyone here and, in the midst of that, I discovered an answer to a huge problem that was getting tons of systems cancelled.

If you want to take a shot at getting more, read my article below. It seems to have helped many. If your happiness with this machine lies on that deal, you might as well cancel.

You ordered the machine because its ....stunning...and thats that. Many have paid much more than you; many paid list.

    DUDE!!! YOU GOT A DELL!!!

My config was identical except for 1GB ram for $100 less. Ended up cancelling and buying from Ebay instead.
