    hi guys, so i found this dell m1330 on craigslist for $800 (obo). its pretty nicely spec'd although the catch is that it is "almost a year now".

    so what do you guys think? should i inquire about this notebook? or would i be better to just order online? or heck, would i even be better to wait until all this nvidia crap blows over and is somehow resolved?

    What would a similarly spec'd system go for new? Does Canada have an Outlet?

    the exact same system on dell.ca would be $1220 before tax and without any coupons. however dell has this thing on now where you automatically save $121, which brings the price to $1099.

    and no dell canada does not have an outlet

    damn that for 800? its not that bad
    sure its been used, but you can always upgrade the RAM for an extra 50 bucks or so and it'll be running pretty smoothly
    and no one will notice it's a tad old >.>
