I ordered the xps through epp and got the $70 gift card for upgrading the warranty. I ordered my computer on 7-24 and it was delivered on 8-8. How long should i expect to wait for my gift card to arrive?

**** ordered on 7/24 and received on 8/8. Maybe my rep wasn't lying too bad when he said it would ship in 3 to 5 days despite the website quote of late August. Did you get the remote, headphones, etc.?

    Hey there!

It's supposed to be *6-8 weeks after your order has been shipped*....

On the Gift Card...Dell either has it together or they don't...This just might be my only qualm with Dell. And, I always try to stay positive ;) :)

I was supposed to get a $200 GC in March 8 weeks after I rec'd my 1530..I waited patiently those 6-8 weeks and let it all play out..Well, on the 9th week I still hadn't rec'd it..I started my *contact* with Dell on that.

To sum it up...things were *mishandled* by Dell, I didn't get my gift card...but they let me order from them up to $200 worth of free *whatever* on their site (done with rep on phone in Consumer Care, or whatever they were called).

Therefore, I strongly believe you need to stay on top of the GC's with Dell..to make sure you receive it. After they took care of things..I wasnt upset anymore....But, just felt that as a Consumer ~ you should never have to *fight* for things due to you ;) :)

So, stay on top of the gift card situation, is my suggestion. ;) :) Make contact with Dell after the 8th week! :)

    ^^^^And, sorry's for my storybook above ;) :) lulz :)

    Good luck!

    Cin ;) :)

i got the xps cd case and xps cleaning cloth no ear phones. I called and talked to dell about that and they are sending me a $50 coupon and i'm hoping to combine that with my $70 gift card to get a 9 cell battery.

Oh that's good!good! ;) :) And, you should be able to combine both the coupon and GC! The 9cell is a nice battery, BTW :)

I received them with everthing else back in Jan. It wouldve shown up on your order/invoice if you were receiving them.

If you did not receive these, or if they were not offered..What you should do is call Dell, express that the earbuds are a part/and should be part of the purchase price ~ and see if they will send you some.

Chance are, they will. I have seen others have this happen for them, but I can't say 100% each time ;) :)

I think its in the manner of how you speak to the Rep, and your intentions. ;) :)

    Good luck to you!

    Cin ;) :)
