    How long is the build date?

    Well, i decided IF SB comes out February 1st, im going to order it asap.

    How long would the build date be if you had to guess? I have no idea how long the build date is for the current alienware, but maybe it would be close to that?

    Any ideas? Appreciate the help.

    I'd guess a week if you get your order in right away, and no parts are backordered. Could probably go up to a few months if they get way more orders than they have supply for and you didn't order fast, which is what it appears always happens.

    From what I see from other new tech releases, I would say ASAP. It will all depend on how many order the components you want compared to Dell's stock. However, I never ordered a laptop from Dell right when it was released, so I don't know if they give an exact date and time for orders to start.

    Okay, two questions if you don't mind.

    Where can i follow there news releases? On the dell site? Or... I really want to be up to date so i am prepared for the purchase.

    Second question, does dell release it in the U.S and Canada at the same time? Is that what they did for Alienware? or..

    I don't know a specific site. I would just Google "Dell L702x release date"

    I'm not sure which other markets will release the same day as the United States.
