How long time did you get your xps1530 after ordering?

hi,i ordered my xps1530 on 28th Aug. and dell sales man told my friend he will get machine on 5th Sep.,it's very good,but i checked in my order that time is 15th Sep. too long time for me,because my friend will come to my country on 10th Sep and i want him to take machine to me,so if time is 15th Sep.,no use for me,so i m worrying about that,now it's weekend and i can't contact to sales assistant,so who can tell me that delivery time showing in the order is true? How long time did you get your xps1530 after ordering?i m so worried.

Usually the ESD is over-projected meaning you may, or may not get it sooner. You can also check your order status online at www.dell.com, go to Order Status and input your Order Number, etc.

My 1530 was ordered in Jan/08 it would've take less than 8 days to get to me, there was a problem with a part being on backorder. So, they ended up canceling *refreshing* my order and entering again...So in the end it took just about 3 weeks to get to me.

Did you order w/in the US or from another country????

Try not to be so worried, *right now*..as there is nothing you can do until you can actually speak to a Dell rep regarding your order. Just try to relax, and enjoy the fact that you are getting a new lappy! And, a nice one to boot!

I can't answer that...I'm sorry. There very well could've been a delay or something in the production process! What you need to focus on is that you are getting a really nice lappy...There are others who have been waitng a lot longer out there and ordered well before you

No need to stress yourself over something you cant do anything about, until you talk to a Dell Rep regarding your order.

Mine came in exactly two weeks, I'm in the US though. It arrived 19 days before the EDD, if that makes you feel better.

 

Mine got here 2 weeks after I ordered, and arrived 19 days before the estimated delivery date.

I ordered mine on August 8. It was supposed to be here the 28th. They had not emailed me or phoned me about being late. Which falls well into my plan. I'll ask them to compensate for 1) Sending me a broken notebook as new (broken screen and touchkey, ffs) after waiting a whole month for it. 2) Making me wait past their already ridiculous ESD and not informing me of it.

I'll wait until Tuesday/Wednesday for it.

 

It took me 10 days from order with overnight shipping to receive mine!

 

I ordered at the end of June and it arrived on July 24. I got a refund and ordered again on August 8 and I am still waiting for it. ESD was Aug. 28. This time they missed it.

 

I ordered mine on July 24th and I do not have it in my hands yet, but it is shipped.

I'm being offered an XPS 1530 and they're telling me if I order today, it might arrive by this Friday, but by Tuesday at the latest... I don't believe that for a second, though.

 

Ordered my 1530 (9300/LED) 8/4/08, finally entered the Production/BOXING stage yesterday. Delayed because of the backordered LED screen, maybe they finally got the LEDs in stock.

 

my sales assistant told me"The information shows it might ship this week ,but unfortunately there is nothing we can do to guaranty this, sorry for the inconvenience",that is really i can get this order?do they treat me?

No 1530 here, I ordered a 1330 on Aug 28 and it currently has a ESD of Sep 11. Hopefully sooner though.

I originally selected 2 day shipping but later decided I wanted overnight. I emailed them asking to change it and they said it's already in production and can't be changed. ****it. Instead of receiving it on a Friday I now have to wait over the weekend until the following Monday. =(

 

Sorry to be a bit negative on these forums but... ***? You can't wait 3 days? That's ridiculous!

Put yourself in my shoes, buddy; I ordered a Studio 1535 on August 5th and still haven't received it! So I cancelled it today and will order my XPS on Friday.

 

No I can't wait 3 more days. Waiting for it to be built is torture enough. I want my new machine!!!!!!!

 

I ordered mine on august 14th, and got it on the 27th, 2 days before the ESD.

At least...you will be able to order another lappy in just a few days! And, the 1530 is a sweet lappy for sure!

You should ask them to upgrade you to Next Bus. Day Shipping for what happened w/the 1535 when you order on Friday...

And, my total time to receive my 1530 was about 3 weeks...there was a problem with a part being on *back order*...so if that wouldn't have happened ~ it would've been like 8 days!

I order 1530 from epp system,is it faster than another system?

 

I ordered 1530 from EPP on August 6th. Original estimate ship was 9/2. Just got bumped to 9/9.

 

Ditto for me. Ordered from EPP on 8/6, ESD was 9/2 just got an email yesterday saying ESD is now 9/9.

 

Ordered on 8/15. The estimated delivery date is tomorrow and it's still in production. I bet I'll be getting a phone call soon telling me that my new EDD is on 9/20 or something.

Got shipped confirmation a few days after they told me it would be delayed. Originally was supposed to be shipped 9/2, on 9/1 was told it would be 9/9, but was shipped on 9/4. Sweet!
