    Hi guys:

Just received my 1330 which has a pretty crappy LED screen. It is the toshiba one as device manager says LCD2306.

How many brands are there out there? Cuz i asked for a system replacement and will definetly look up for the screen brand upon arrival

    Thx

I don't know. I thought there was only one or two...

By the way, make sure you do not get a refurbished machine for a replacement.

Yeah, the Toshiba I just got is crappy too. Even worse than the Chi Mei! I'm going to schedule a tech to switch it out. I am crossing my fingers for a Samsung as beautiful as my last one.

go to the device manager, monitor, then select the details tab and select "Hardware ID". You should then see a code. LCDXXX stands for toshiba and CMOXXXX stands for Chi Mei
