    I have ordered dell xps 15 , I live in China i don't trust Chinese seller's very much , Seller is going to call me within few days so,

    How can i know laptop is new or refurbished ?

    Refurbished models will have a sticker on the bottom. You can also check out support.dell.com and punch in your service tag and view the warranties.

    Did you order from US Dell site or CN Dell site, or other 3rd party reseller? If you ordered the right item(brand new instead of refurbished) from the official sites, whether from US or CN, it should be what you have ordered.

    I ordered it from dell store, Here in China where i live there is a electronic shopping mall call cyber mart, Cyber Mart is a 3 story building the size of a square block with about 200 venders inside there are all dell, sony , Lenova etc stores.

    He told me that we don't keep high ended dell laptops in out store, Because Most of Chinese peoples don't buy it so, he said to me i will order one for you

    If they use the Dell brand and sell Dell stuff in the public, I think it'd most likely mean it's a licensed reseller of Dell. If so, ask the salesperson if the machine he/she is oordering for you brand new or refurbished.

    You could also order online from Dell CN site, which would be a better and more secure way IMO.

    ya they use dell brand and sells dell stuff in the public place, i 'd ordered one directly from dell.com.cn site but price was bit high and online they don't send laptop accessories free =))

    And , the seller is giving me all laptop accessories for free, and around 200 bucks less price in laptop

    I will ask a seller about refurbished thing

    Can you please provide me the sellers details and where is this shop in china because i'm also about to buy the same laptop same configuration but not sure weather its refurbished or brand new my seller is in hongkong he says its brand new so please can you provide me with sellers details..
