    How to check if i have LED screen? XPS m1330 replaced screen

    SO i got my screen replaced on my xps m1330 but im not sure if i got the LED screen and now when opening the laptop i see vertical lines....?


    How do i go about checking if i got the right screen?

    Hey there! You can start by going into Device Manager:

    In Device Manager expand Monitors and double-click on Generic PnP Monitor. Click on the Details Tab and change the Property box to Hardware Ids.

    What does it say in there?

    It says:
    MONITOR\LCD2306

    On assembly i had:
    1 GX081 Assembly,Cable,Coaxial,Liquid Crystal Display,Light EmittingDiode,M1330

    When i click on hardware id it just shows "MONITOR\Default_Monitor"
