This is probably a very noobish question, but I don't know how to switch to LAN once I plug in my LAN into the ethernet / LAN port in my XPS m1530. I'm always running via wireless.
Even when I click on the internet icon thing in the bottom right and pick "connect or disconnect", I can't seem to find my LAN to connect to.

    Thanks for any help

Switch off the wireless, plug the Ethernet cable from your router into the 1330 and reboot.

It should jump on the LAN automagically.
