I just got my SXPS and along with the CDs there was a note to go to:
http://downloadstore.dell.com/media to download the software that came with the computer.

I registered on the website and I am able to download the antivirus, the facial recognision, the cd software, and the video chat!

I tried to register at that Dell site just to see what software was being offered and can't get past the register screen, it just sits there.

Are you using firefox? That same thing happened to me when I tried registering and so I tried internet explorer instead and it worked.

It also doesn't work for me in IE8, but doesn't IE8 come with a compatibility option? Perhaps that will do the trick...

It's an activeX issue with the new browser.

I tried multipleIEs (have multiple IE versions on your machine), but this unfortunately is not Vista compatible. Any ideas on how to obtain the software / get a previous IE version on the machine (Vista Ultimate 64Bit)???

I had to go Tools - Developer Tools - Browser Mode: IE7 and then it worked perfectly.

Sorry but the developer mode IE7 also doesn't do it for me...

Still got the same error: "An Application error has occurred. Please contact customer support if the problem persists."

I'll try uninstalling IE8 and see if I can access the site then. Will post back with the results.
    -----------
Edit: The result is that I'm still getting the same error. I verified the IE version, and it actually is IE 7 now (7.0.6001.18000).

You can just contact Dell for the CDs. I have them.

Guess I'll have to do that then... I'll get a new machine next week (with 4670 graphics card instead of the 3670), so I'll see if it works on that machine when it comes out of the box.

    Thanks for your efforts!
