    hey does anyone know how to manual disable/enable the touchpad on the xps 1530? thanks for the help!

    On your task bar on the bottom right...there Should be the Icon:
    Dell Touchpad...you can disable thru there. ;) :)

    It will be in the *Device Select / Button Settings* option...(top left)...You want Device Select...you can enable and disable there ;)

    ahh, thanks! i must have disabled it through services! everything is so handy on this laptop, i love it!
