Hi, I just received my m1530. Overall, I'm very very happy with it.
But, before I received it, I got scared has I found that lots of you were having grainy screen.

Fortunately, mine looks really neat. So I think I have a LG screen or a rare nice Samsung.

But, just out of curiosity, I want to know which panel I have.

I went, into the device manager & Right click on destop // personalize // display setting.

But everywhere it says PnP monitor... (Plug N' Play.. I suppose)

    Personalise in Devicemanager?

But your halfway through :) Open monitors, rightclick Plug & Play monitor and choose properties. Now go to the TAB details and u will see a code that probably starts with; DISPLAY\ ......... \

On the dots is another code, write it down and search on it on google, u might find the exact name of the screen.. If it starts with LPL... It's an LG.

    OK, got it :) lol.
I had to scroll down the property thingy and then choose Device Instance Path.
    It gave me: "DISPLAY\CPT141F\5&207E0375&0&UID280"

    Thank you for your answer!

FINALLY! I praise you my man.

I praise for not getting on the bandwagon and sticking with the screen YOU LIKE.

If it looks good to you, it's the best screen you can get.

So what if it's a Chinese brand or whatever....

    Enjoy your machine.
