I put my setting to high performance in the battery meter, and when i go on battery it doesn't seem to run as fast as it does on plugged in while in a game. Is there a way to change it so it does?

    IM running a 1640 with p8700
    4gb ram
    4670 1gb

You need to change your catalyst control center Powerplay options most likely. Whats happening is that the software is reducing performance of your video card to save battery power.

Change from Maximize Battery to Maximize Performance. Hope that helps.
