Yeah, I hear what you are saying, but I find it sort of deceptive. Honestly, I don't know what the difference is in price or what the difference is in viewing...I like my screen just fine, looks good, plays blu rays beautifully, but it is just the principle of the thing. paid $1750 for the laptop, would expect top of the line across the board..

this is the best way to just go to the dell site and check the system configuration they will just ask for the servise tag which is at the back of your laptop a list will appear this whould be the whole information about your laptop including WLED or RGBLED
i also have installed some software program they give wrong information about it

    No. It's the 15.6" 1080p WLED.

I understand your frustration, but they probably ran out of RGBLEDs by the time they had to replace yours. Based on all the upgrades they gave you (based on your sig), you can't really complain too much, lol. :)

The LG Display (LGD) is 100% not RGBLED. All the RGBLED panels are from Samsung (SEC). It should be fairly easy to tell, as the WLED LG's are 15.6" and the RGBLEDs are 16". When you look at the two hinges on the left and right of your screen (the silver ones with the two screws in them), the 16" RGBLED screen will extend left and right all the way to the hinges, where with the 15.6" there will be a small (0.2 inch) gap between the screen and the hinge. Believe what you want, but that won't make it an RGBLED.

Edit: you can look at page 5 of this thread for a picture example showing the size difference
