Hey guys my xps 1640 with win7 can detect my n900(but i can't pair two of them although the authentication codes i see on n900 and xps are the same) and i can listen to music that i play on n900 from laptop's speakers using "bluetooth phone operations and settings" on win7 but can't receive or send any file.Every time my phone says "cant connect to Dell-PC".
    Any suggestions?

Yea try out what ikjadoon suggested. Reinstall the bluetooth driver and use the one linked on this THREAD . I got the same combo as you, n900 + 1645 (mine's a 1645), but my bluetooth works and I can send and receive files. So once you've reinstalled the bluetooth, repair the n900 and the xps (start menu-> "devices and printers"->add a device). It should work.

On a possible side note- I hope you didn't change your laptop's name from "Dell-PC" to something else recently, because then it wouldn't be able to find it? A possibility.

I have paired my n900 and xps 1640 win7.I can send files to my n900 without a problem but whenever i wanna send a file from my n900 to my XPS, "connection to Dell-PC failed" warning pops up.
    Any suggestions?

Is your BT on the Dell discoverable?

Try deleting the device from the computer and adding it again.

Did you try changing your computer name to something else, like E.D.U. suggested?

Hmm...sorry for the late reply. :(

Any luck yet? You did try reinstalling the BT drivers?

    I'm running out of ideas.
