..is not well aligned. What I mean is that the plastic covering that makes the monitor look edge-to-edge is not aligned right. The side of the glass sticks out to a point where you can push it in. I mean, it doesn't even seemed like the plastic covering fits at all with the lid! Too bad pushing it in does nothing..the plastic cover just pops back out. Dell replaced my monitor for this reason alone..except...the new monitor has the SAME EXACT problem. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? If so, how do you fix it? I thought about trimming the side out to make it fit inside the lid, tho it does sound a little dangerous to do lol

edit: I got it fixed! The same guy who changed my monitor last week came by and changed it again. The new monitor doesn't have the screwed up alignment problem that used to plague my "old" monitor.

The problem is that I just called last week, and the monitor was replaced just 2 days ago. You think that they will buy that? that my "new" monitor has the same issue? Here is a picture of the monitor: (sorry for the quality, it was taken with my cell phone!)

Here are more pictures of the same problem: (taken with an ACTUAL camera)

Yeah, of course they will buy it. Just argue your case and submit an email to "unresolved issues". I did this and got my 1535 replaced with a 1555, after it had had so many issues. Surely they will do the same for this, if not replace it with a new one.

What's the time spam on all the issues? Was it within the warranty period? I now have a new effing issue. The dude who replaced my monitor screwed up my DVD player! Part of the DVD player was sticking out of the slot thingy. I had to unscrew like 20 screws to remove the keyboard and fix the DVD player myself. Needless to say, I was not very happy about it. Although the DVD player is fixed, part of the mesh thingy that keeps dust out is now lose  The guy also managed to make a few scratches on the back of my lapy...he also striped one of my screws!
