Why do I torture myself like this?
It's not too late to cancel.

Well, if it's not too late to cancel, go for the 1330 if that's what you want. But the 1530 will be more powerful and less expensive. Portability and styleishness are the only advantages of the 1330.

No, it's not to late to cancel.
But....if you order the 1330...are you going to have the same remorse for the 1530??
If you cancel and reorder...Carefully consider which one you really want
If it helps...I was torn between both, and went with the 1530..as it just seemed to suit all of my needs, and I have been happy with it.
There are several threads in this forum regarding choosing between the 1330 vs the 1530..you should check those out. It may help you with your final choice
Good luck.
Lithus, as always you are very funny -
man, i read this post and wondered if i had made it and just forgot
my old laptop is a 700m, and since i got my 1530, i still find myself on my 700m a LOT and feel like the 1530 is a f'n TANK, even though it's really slim and elegant for a 15" laptop
I will say this however, i love the 1680x1050. Also, i have been using it a lot more now that i have the LG screen, it shipped with the troublesome samsung and i had it replaced twice to get the LG.... however, the tech broke the hinge and my microphone doesnt pick up hardly anything, and my track pad seems sketchy
I am considering returning it... but id want to be able to get a 1330 with LED for the same price, and it's goign to take some work, but i think i might be able to work some magic.
Basically i just realized the thing i love about my 700m is how portable and small it was, it was everything i could want in a laptop. the m1530 is a powerhouse and awesome, but it's just not portable at all in my mind, and if i wanted something not portable i could just have a killler desktop -

Okay the M1330 IS smaller and more light and portable, but the M1530 is like the smallest 15.4" screen laptop out there, and it's slim, i think my 3 year old 15.4" HP which is 1.6" thick is pretty portable, it is also 8 pounds, and i just ordered my XPS M1530 and it is almost half as thin and much lighter, so it is all personal preference, BTW, it takes awhile to cancel and reorder, and your Estimated Shipping Date will be delay by ALOT.. I have to learn that the hard way...
I ordered the 1530 but now I have buyer's remorse and wonder if I should get the 1330
