    I still think this was the best looking dell XPS ever!
    If someone had one, I'd trade my XPS 1530 for it in a heartbeat.

    lol yeah Its a sexy beasty...

    Im sure someone could mod it to "look" like it atleast... I mean extend the sliver stripes we have to match the 1720's.

    Looks really cool but just not as slim and sleek as the current XPS.

    Would be cool if they went to this style of lid but with the thickness of the current XPS for the next model they do!

    Our current XPS couldn't be as slim as the graphic card is the reason why that one is thicker.

    Haha my friend from high school (just starting college) has that exact XPS. It has a 2.0GHz C2D (which goes to 80c under load), NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900GS and stuff. However the area where the power button and system lights are got destroyed cosmetically by the bottom of the screen border lol. Still a pretty slick XPS though, even if it is "last gen".
