    I updated the Nividia drivers ... But don't think I did

    So I deleted the previous drivers for the 9400m but when I rebooted and installed the current drivers that were released on the 4th but after I rebooted and check the status of the drivers ... well just look :

    Did I do it right ?

    Two different dates, mate:

    Date the driver was released and the date the driver was compiled. I don't think they could compile and release a driver on the same day. :)

    It was compiled on November 30th and was released on December 4th. The driver version checks out, too: that's the latest version.

    It's the latest version don't worry. Another way you can check is through the Nvidia Control Panel, where you will see the actual driver version you're familiar with.

    Right. It's also the last five digits of the version that's Device Manager. But ATI's scheme I will never understand...
