    Hi,

I purchased my dell laptop sxps 1640 in Feb and till now..it is getting lot pf problems...

1st time - Around 2 weeks back - My Motherboard, DVD burner and Palmrest was replaced

2nd time - 1 week back - Palmrest was again replaced

3rd time - This time - They said that they will replace Palmrest, Motherboard, LCD, Power Adapter..

Now, how will I check if they have replaced my LCD with correct superior quality?

well your laptop comes with different display options. what ever option you bought is what you will get. some of the options are made from different manurfractors but you will get the same one that you have now. you can always look on the back of the lcd panel to see.

1st and second time because of this problem:

Suppose if I type something, then after typing a line or two cursor moves automatically to some other part of the screen. Dell technician tried many tweaks the touchpad utility, but it failed and then he replaced the palmrest.

Now, I will be again getting it replaced, because many times, I feel a huge electric charge on corners and near touchpad. I am even using 3 PIN adapter.
