    I've been reading that many people don't think the new sxps 16 deserves xps the xps badge. Why do you think that is? I think it does just some don't.

    It's because the previous XPS laptops were designed to be portable gaming rigs. The M1730 can be overclocked and can be customized in an SLI configuration. The new Studio XPS laptops are more in line with multimedia laptops instead of laptops designed for gamers.

    Nah, it doesn't bother me...they are nice lappy's :D

    I buy Dell's either way, so it's no biggy. Peep's are going to buy according to personal choice/preference either way. Can't do anything about it now, anyways! ;)

    well, its now the Studio XPS line thats used as multimedia, while the Alienware brand is used for gaming

    but IMO, it's stylish (to a point maybe)....
