So I have Dell's IDT sound thing installed, and for some reason, my SXPS13 always seems to be confused as to what sound output to use. I have to keep switching between IDT audio and "Headphones/Speakers". The control panel "Sound" applet also seems to just not be working. Nothing happens when I attempt to start it. Is anyone else having these issues?

Is there any way to get it to switch to IDT audio automatically when there's a plug in the appropriate jack and then switch back to speakers/headphones when they're removed?
