If I play a graphic-intensive game on my M1330, do I run a risk of damaging the mobo/nvidia card?

Sorry if I sound like a noob, but I read a while ago on here some posts about some copper mod because the chip had some flaws about cooling or something

If I play a game such as Left 4 Dead, will I run any risks of damaging the video card or motherboard?

I purchased the laptop mid october from Dell.

Just make sure you have the latest BIOS and drivers. You should be ok. If the card dies it won't be your fault. What's your warranty like?

the m1330 is known to have heat problems, but dont worry, you wont damage your GPU or motehrboard by playing heavy games, if you experience sudden drops in FPS, then that means your laptop is infact overheating, and the hardware protects itself by downclocking the GPU, if this is the case, you could ask dell to replace your cooling/motherboard, or you could do the copper mod, your call :D

    cheers
