The middle of next month? I ordered mine 5 days ago and it won't ship for another 10 days.

Depends on what you get. A customized one may set you back a month. Not sure how it is today, but I read someone posting about his ESD around now of next month (he ordered recently).

It depends on when you order, your spec's and the time in production to build your notebook! :)

Realistically, a ESD cannot be pinpointed....some have gotten the 1530 sooner than the ESD, some latter..and have been waiting a bit. ;) :)

    Cin ;) :)

I ordered mine a few days ago on the 16th and there is apparently a 7-day delay because of the LED display. The ESD is September 4th, so it's not that bad. Assuming my ESD isn't a lie anyways.

I ordered a m1330 on the 13th, and the ESD was the 28th. Then I reordered a m1530 a day later, and the ESD was the 29th. I don't think they actually give an accurate number, just a general guess.

I ordered a 1530 the 7th, it's coming today. I got 4GB of RAM, Intel-N wireless card, bluetooth, Intel Core 2 Duo T5750(2.0GHz, 667Mhz, 2M L2 Cache), and 8600GT. The EDD was September 8th, but it's coming today :D. I guess it just depends on the configuration. I had no delayed parts in my order.

What the hell I ordered mine on the 6th. I was just told yesterday that my delay was the 6 cell battery but that they had them now. The day I ordered they were only quoting a one day delay for the LED screen. Now they show like 9 days I think.

Surprised that yall are still getting the Nvidia chipset. Are you opting for a longer warranty because of the defect? Probably a good idea regardless.

I wouldn't have opted for a longer warranty but I got a 3 year because it was included in the deal I got. I am not worried about it at all. I have had a 8600 GTS in my desktop for around two years on a fanless card and I haven't had any problems with it. I have faith that I will be taken care of if I have a problem and by then if not already I will get a revised chip.

I'm not worried about it... by the time my warranty is up I'll probably have a new notebook...

Not to scare you as I'm in same boat with new m1330 but how can they deny it when Dell just announced it publicly and said they would extend people's warranties for another 12 mths if you bought Nvidia card? check Dell forum.

My salesperson just told me yesterday that the reason for my delay was the 6 cell battery but that they had them now. If you believe that. But then again he told me it would ship in 3 to 5 days on the 6th and here it is the 20th and it still shows in production.

in my experience, using the phone to check order status is more up to date than the online order status. prime example: for 5 days i kept checking the online order status, when i tried calling for my order status, it was already in boxing stage, yet online it was still "in production". so you might want to give that a go, make sure you have your order info: 1800 433 9014

I have been emailing my salesman and he just blows me off and just responds with I will look into that right away and crap like that. I am getting pissed. He totally lied to me about the shipping time and it took from 10am to 1:30pm and 3 canceled orders to get everything right and I have been waiting this long and I bet I won't end up even getting a remote much less all the other accessories. I have mentioned upgraded me to overnight shipping a few times and he just keeps side stepping it. I am ready to call and just talk to someone else.
